Sautéed Grabba started with four of us meeting at Berklee and realizing pretty quickly that we really enjoyed playing together. After years of studying music and playing in different projects, we wanted to create a band where we could trust each other, improvise, and let the music go wherever it needs to go.
The band is Trey Tarzia on drums, Ollie Unger on bass, San Trinh on guitar, and Walker McSween on trumpet. Everyone comes from a different musical background and has their own voice, but that is what brings us together. At the heart of Sautéed Grabba is making music that challenges the moment while staying truthful to ourselves. We don’t really know where the music will go when we step on stage, and that is the whole point.
